HOW DO I MAKE MY HOLIDAY OUTFITS EXTRA QUEER?
December advice

Coco Chanel said, "Look in the mirror and take one thing off." This highlights your simplicity, elegance, and quality clothing.
She was also a Nazi spy. Don’t listen to her—put MORE on!
A "queer outfit" should feel like you’re showing the world how you are *right now.* How we dress and present ourselves can be a magical, important part of our queer journeys. Really, what makes a queer outfit is *you.*
But if you’re staring at the closet and don’t know where to start, start here!
Find one item you like. Recognize the pallet:
Complementary - opposites: red/green, blue/orange, yellow/purple
Monochromatic - shades and tints of the same color
Analogous - neighbors: yellow/green, red/violet, orange/red
Fill out the rest of your outfit following that palette. Think: layers, accessories, winter cozy.
Assign a point to each item you're wearing. Shoes, accessories, sunglasses—everything counts!
1 point - low visual interest, basic
2 points - heavy visual interest, high-impact piece
Add them up and aim for 10. Want kooky-lesbian-aunt vibes? Go for 12!
