JANUARY QUEER OBSERVED DAYS
January 20–24: No Name-Calling Week
A week dedicated to stopping name-calling and bullying, with a focus on preventing harassment targeting LGBTQIA+ youth and other marginalized communities.
January 27: Holocaust Remembrance Day
A day of remembrance for LGBTQIA+ people persecuted during the Holocaust. This observance is intersectional, honoring Jewish people, Sinti-Roma, disabled people, BIPOC individuals, antifascist advocates and artists, and others targeted by the Nazi regime.
Third Friday in January: International Fetish Day
A day to acknowledge consensual fetish communities and to challenge shame and stigma surrounding sexual expression and identity.
